This is a warning for anyone that is thinking of enrolling in Kaplan University Online. Before you get too eager to enroll in Kaplan University Online do a search using the key words "kaplan university ripoff" and read about how many people who enrolled in Kaplan University Online were riped off because Kaplan University Online accepted and stole their student loans, grants and registration fee and blocked them out of their online courses without giving them the education or degree that was promised by Kaplan University Online. If you or anyone you know have been ripped off by Kaplan University Online then please post your complaint here to alert other people before they go too deeply into debt for thousands of dollars in student loans. Also if you are filing a class action lawsuit against Kaplan University post the contact information for the lawyers who filed class action lawsuits against Kaplan University Online. Don't waste your time or money on Kaplan University Online for a education and degree that you will never get.

Besure to spread the word about Kaplan University so that no one else will be a victim and have to pay for a very expensive lesson of paying something for nothing like I did.

I am glad there are some people who have not been screwed by Kaplin however if you look at the news you will see that the Obama adm has been concerned about this and the graduation rates and default rates are off the charts. Please consider other options like community college. I would like to hear from graduates of Kaplin who have jobs and CAN realistically pay back the loans they accumulated. The facts say this is a small percentage. I believe these institutions exploit people. Do NOT DO IT

To put it simply - this is a bunch of garbage.

I have been accepted to some of the finest schools across the country to complete my Masters - with a Kaplan Bachelors.

Great School, very helpful finance department and my son is now attending Kaplan with none of the problems listed in this video or the comments section.

I attended Kaplan University Online for my Bachelor's degree and I loved it!!! Yes, I did have to take student loans, but so does everyone in every other school. They never lied to me about anything and my loans are exactly what they are supposed to be. For those below who comment that they took out loans without your knowledge or permission, you are not telling the truth. You have to electronically sign a Master Promissory Note on the FAFSA website with your PIN. They cannot do it for you. Sad!

Distance education is still a viable alternative to traditional learning if it's not convenient to go to a physical school. Choose wisely...
