its running as an n/a car at the moment... Once they hook up the turbo and cooler to the throttle body it will be SIIK!!! yes the car will run a map sensor and likely a haltech being an aussie car
bov and wastegates are all you need to keep things going, remember the old turbo legacys had no intercoolers. things only get after you run the car hard for a few, or are running flat out. besides they may have a meth set up or even E85 we dont know because the submitter didnt say. hope this was informative.
set ups like that are nice but there aren't any places near me that have a set up like that. There is a place in Dallas but I am not driving that far when I can tune my car myself. lol.
even so there is still no air moving over the intercooler , in a way WE ARE BOTH RIGHT , they need one of those giant fans placed in front of the engine ,i go tune my car at VACA in carson California and the whole place is ventalated with exaust vacumes and fresh air fans placed in front of the car creating 50mph winds
yeah but not charging the turbo with cold air can cause it to over heat. I am not a fan of dyno's anyway I have seen way too many people get their motors blow up on a dyno. By disconnecting that you are messing with the charge air, granted the turbo will spool up faster but there is a risk of the car over spooling because it doesn't have any back pressure. to me that is just dumb as hell. But whatever their car not mine.
do you know about turbo lag ? filling the intercooler to psi takes time , and since the car isnt MOVING so air would go over it to cool the air inside , its not really needed is it? ,
you probrably disconnected it from the mass air flow sensor causing it to run like crap
holy shit !
