Speaking as one of the unwashed degenerates who can often find and subcurrent of artistic merit in "gratuitous pseudo-sex and gory shockfests", I still found this absolutley charming. You are, and continue to be, an artist on your own unique path.
Love it. Especially the Mary Pickford smiley closeup. Nice to see a short that harkens back to original filmic 'horror' instead of gratuitous pseudo-sex or blatant imitation of any number of gory shockfests. As someone who loves silent cinema, I thoroughly enjoyed this little gem of yours.
