The plane in which I did the majority of my private training at Palwaukee Flyers was a beautiful 2005 C172SP with a G1000. I loved my instructor and had a great time and easily passed my checkride with about 80 hours. I was very satisfied with my experience there, although Windy City is admittedly superior for higher ratings and for their more diverse fleet. However, they're not significantly cheaper when you consider fuel surcharges and the damn high club fees.

Very nice. I'd love to do something like this I'm only an hour and a half away. Is there a time when this airspace is "less busy"?
