The Telemark Battalion Night To 9th April 2010 In Afghanistan

TV2s Newsteam was with Soldiers from the Norwegian Telemark Bataljonen/Battalion on theyr way back to base,when Afghany forces under Norwegian Command called for backup (attacked from several positions),and they where re-directed. When arriving they had to provide backup and covering fire to FN and US Forces calling for it,as well as pushing back the enemy. They splitted up,doing frontal and ambush attack. You can say theese guys made an historcal effort this special night for Norwegian Soldiers.

Ive worked with the Norwegians in the areas reflected in the video, As an American, I can say the Norwegian soldiers can fight with the best of them, and to hell with anyone who says otherwise....
