This is my answer to the quetion "Should company executives have a code of ethics similar to doctors and lawyers?"
(Excuse the sudden jumps on the video; I had to make some cuts which decreased the depth in content out of respect to the 3 minutes limitation)
Thank you World Economic Forum for your attention; and for making us pay attention.

Most CEOs have a code of ethics: it's called capitalism. Too bad, though, that government intrusion has prohibited the expression of free market ethics for the last 100 years.

Congratulations on your video. I think it's a brilliant idea. It's not easy to talk about ethics in economics, so you have a big credit for that. Actually it's not easy to talk about ethics in any subject, so even better.
Your idea is brilliant because it benefits both parties: CEO/entrepreneur and company/public and it's adapted to reality. It's also nice to be hearing about ethics from a young man; it ain't common anymore. Felicidades Pablo.

International Code of Ethics > (dis)convenience for CEO´s?
moppe 1 year ago
I would guess that the 66 people, (as of Aug. 25, 2010), who 'disliked' this video were EXACTLY the kind of people who should NOT be CEO's and proof positive that it is time for a binding code of ethics to be mandated.
Brilliant video. No wonder he won the award.
As a CEO, myself, I heartily rated this video as a favourite!
