@betokkikke how many times have you seen an oboe player in a rock/pop/new wave/progressive band? your right, ANDY MCKAY'S oboe intro in "LADYTRON" is piercing..i always play it in my mind..so that's been about 35 years now..

@tiefhals The best suggestion I've ever had in YouTube was yours, thank you, he he, 'cause oboe solo in "Lady..." is really shocking and the whole song developement by Roxy Music with contrasting sound instruments and Brian Ferry lyrics makes a style performance a unique experience to me, you know, almost half a century later wow...!!!
