I get so frustrated when people start asking me questions right after I come out of a seizure. Save the questions for a couple mins!

Hi, I'm an epileptic and what has been working for me is not to remember my name but to put cold water on the neck and the forehead it helps tremendously to recover faster...! And if the person is wearing a tie, slack it, don't try to do ANYTHING to restrain de person that is having the seizure just make sure that he, she does not get hurt with the surrounding. If the person cannot answer her name, it is not at all important. You should just try to make him, her relax.

A kid had a seizure in my classroom in 2004. It was a really scary experience. But i learned a lot. Its a very intense situation. We had to move all the desks out of the way. Other than that we really had no idea what to do.
