  • no the fed gov is to blame for the econ

  • PEOPLE NEED TO PAY WHAT THEY OWE. I AM NOT A DEBT COLLECTOR, BUT IF EVERYONE JUST PAID WHAT THEY OWED THE ECONOMY WOULD NOT BE SO MESSED UP.

BILL COLLECTORS IN MY OPINION ARE NOT SCUM

PEOPLE THAT SKATE ON THEIR RESPONSIBILITY ARE JUST AS BAD AS DEAD BEAT DADS.

GROW UP, BE RESPONSIBLE, AND LIVE DEBT FREE.

  • Actually, predatory debt collectors cannot call a debtor at 5 in the morning. I believe the hours they can call a debtor are between the hours of 8AM to 9 PM. Anything before 8 AM and after 9PM. They're clearly violating the law.

  • Most calls from debt collectors are for paid bills, and debt that should not be in your name. Why did someone call me and it was for a city and state I never lived in, but they could not tell me information on where it originated from. But they did harass me and told me I better pay. Funny that they could not confirm the info, but I didn't know who they were. They could have been running a scam. Always check your credit report 1st.

  • nah don't pay your credit card bills , let them go , it's game over for the us economy .

  • amen, couldn't have said it better myself.....take responsibility for your actions!!!

  • I understand why everyone is buying into this. Many of us are in debt and we want someone to tell us its ok not to pay our bills. But we know that its not ok. We know that we sign contracts agreeing to pay later for goods and services recieved. Then later comes and we can't adhere to the agreement. The creditor, however, can and does. This results in everything from letters to liens and should come as no surprise because WE signed for it. Best way to stop a bill collector, PAY YOUR BILL!
