Palin is a longtime member of the AIP- Alaska Independence Party, an unAmerican group that wants Alaska to secede from the USA and become it's own country. Todd Palin is cc'd on official Governor emails and often sits in on official Governor's meetings. People in the know say that he is the Shadow Governor.

compared to being governor of Vermont like Howard Dean? Alaska has just about the same population as Vermont, Alaska has oil & gas. If Vermont fell off into the sea, most Americans wouldn't even know it was gone. But I did give Dean credit for his record as Governor. I do the same for Governor Palin.
