He was the greatest karateka of Sosai's generation, I still idolize him even after what he did to the IKO. My sensei, ever risible and objective, calls me the "Mastui Lover" because I study his instructional videos and would throw predominantly jodan/ushiro mawashi hahah

there is the dedicated practitoners' level strikers then there is professional level , then there is the elite strikers , then a few in a league of their own , and then you have matsui who i never seen any one kick like him .
to a beginner it doesnt look that special , also the video doesnt capture 10% of its magnitude , ive heard that from ppl who actually seen him in action .
