@aagjmb Not at all neutered... We all know the fate of the C... SO with that in mind if this had been a actual series intro it would be a very poignant intro... Sorta like hoping it survives its inevitable fate... i kinda got all misty at hearing the Elite force theme... It's has been a while... =)

I'll be honest with you all, ive been reading all the comments, and i dont see how the new star trek movies can hold their own without some kind of tv series with B & C. What does paramount, CBS and whoever got to lose. Hell it would be bigger than ever. Thats what kept the old movies with kirk in it going was the next generation. Then they needed Voyager and DS9 to get TNG movies goin. No other way out.

@Birdee101 I strongly doubt that CBS/Paramount will ever resurrect "old" Star Trek. Anything related to the Ent B or C would be a fan production, something which luckily Paramount tolerates so long as you don't make profit. What I have never understood is why production companies are always trying to appeal to wider audiences and key groups. They have to change the original concept so much it becomes something else and loses it original appeal!
