Re: FRED ON THANKSGIVING !!

Fred goes to Thanksgiving Bible School to become more in touch with his religion, but the other kids attending make fun of him using Year One jokes, like . . ..
"You're sooooo 'Year #1', you just eat GRAVY, GRANOLA, & GREASE - exactly like they do in the U.K. !!!! "

(Things are so tough in the U.K. that the Government has introduced 'Alphabet Eating' to conserve food stocks. You can only eat food beginning with the letter of the alphabet they choose each day. I'm not looking forward to 'X', 'Y' and 'Z'!!! )


Of course, 'gravy, granola & grease' just seemed like a ridiculous meal . . which is why I chose it.
But, in reality, a gift of meat-concentrate, grains and cooking oil would be a very welcome gift in any Famine area. It all depends on how you look at things, sometimes. Bible School can make you think about stuff :p
