You either appreciate Sol Lewitt, or his work just passes you by. It's just a fact. I adore the subtlety and system of Lewitt's work - the fact that it is reproducible (but never exactly) makes him very different, say, from the likes of Ad Reinhart (who, in his later years spent most of his time meticulously reproducing his own works), yet links him to the Renaisance artists in that much of it could be done by 'apprentices'. Brilliant artist - thanks to this video for reminding me!

I overall enjoyed the videos the most. Like the Richard Serra film, too bad it's hard to find most of his videos.
