yea i remember when soul reaver was released, at that time i only understood the fighting, but now the story is so entertaining this game franchise easily goes down as one of my favorite.

let me just say yes the Legacy of Kain story line is "awesome". But i would like to point out that the blood reaver is not a sarafan sword, it was made by Janos' decedent Vorador. He was told to make it because the blade would be used to save Nosgoth. It is a vampirec blade not made but any mortal for the task could only be carried out by Vorador and it was only call the soul reaver after Raziel's soul was sucked into it. the sword you referred to Raziel using is the spectral reaver.

It was somewhat the same to me, at the time i was given Soul Reaver for a birthday, both my brother and i only understood a bit of english, but man it was a fun experience.

it's kind of late to say it, but i'd like to see a review of it.

I give this game a 4/5. It truly is amazing with one of the best storylines of any game I have played. I too started off playing the series with Soul Reaver when I was younger. All of the LoK games are amazing and are must plays for anyone.

I know what you mean by having to go to the dictionary alot to understand the story. I remember when Soul Reaver came out in '99, I was eleven at the time - having to look up the word "excrement" because Raziel at one point said something along the lines of Kain wiping out his entire clan like excrement from a boot.
