  • can i make my 99 vw passat 1.8t biturbo?

  • @Kingvenom7 :

It doesnt make sense to Twinturbo a little 1.8 L. Go on with the 1.8t and spend some nice Parts.

  • @ComptonLowriderz it doesn't make sense? the point of having a bi turbo is to have minimum lag, so the smaller the engine the more sense it makes..

it's just my opinion though! ;)

  • @billasohyeah I understand what you saying, but it still make no sense. The smaller the displacement the smaller the Turbohousing gets to reduce lag. This results in dramatic breath and heat problems in higher Rev´s, the small Turbo is the Bottleneck at the End.More Sense can be found in Register Charging, with a little and a big turbo. But there are too many good performance Solutions for a 1.8t with only one Turbo. So Headache can be prevent.

  • @ComptonLowriderz its technically "twin-turboed" but in reality its just a smaller turbo spooling a bigger turbo as to get rid of as much "Boost-Lag" as possible. Quite the kickass idea I must say. Wish I just had a shitload of money laying around id drive a b-turbo pos honda!

  • sequential turbos for a four cylinder if you want two turbos:)

  • Ok what was the racket in the background lol

  • @Kingvenom7 1.8 spooling two turbos?

What turbos are you using, hotwheels?

  • any idea were those 2 blue boost hose go , (looks like they both are piped into each side of the intake??? what hotside ru useing ,

  • The VW R32 AWD is a V6 3.2L 24v 250hp stock engine! Not even the VR6 2.8L FWD 24v 200hp, nor the 1.8L Turbo FWD DOHC I-4 (180hp) guys C'mom!

The R32 with a twin turbo set up can easily be tuned to push 600+hp AWD.

  • Those turbos are the size of m&m's o.O
