  • Shame that this clip has music that has no relationship to the dance , in fact its darned annoying, a real mish mash of a presentation and furthermore surely Class is an original piece by Robert Cohan to the Vastly superior music of Jon Keliehor ???

Whats going on here one asks

  • @bhilaj Hi, the music is actually taken from the live performance so it's definitely meant to be where it is! Many choreographers have produced Class pieces, this one was choreographed by former Phoenix AD Darshan Singh Bhuller. It is actually no longer in our rep though.

  • @bhilaj I first applauded you for your honesty though I do not share the same view! I believe that you may have misunderstood this video. This piece is much harder than you think it is (I dont wish to offend) but for the several reasons brought to you in the video. If you notice it wasn't projected as a performance but rather as demonstration, and to be able to unify this movement in such a technical manner also in a group situation, I congratulate the dancers for there technique and showmanship

  • @phoenixdancetheatre Thanks for the reply but its still a mish mash and doesn't show anything about the piece other than a few fleeting images with non synched music - why not show some real footage of the piece, i mean lets have less talk and more "dance" please - standards are slipping i'm afraid
