I was at the 83 US Festival as well. I was able to bring in my camera with zoom lenses. I got a few KILLER close-ups of Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. I wish they would bring it back again, I'm getting old......

@vaibanez17 It was so hot that day Jake E Lee's guitar probably de-tuned its self from the moisture drying out of the neck...... It wasn't perfect but Ozzy's set that day = Priceless!

@flaviolas The US FEST show was so large that the speed of sound couldn't keep up with its real time video production. If you were in the far back looking at the video screen, you would see Ozzy talk and then hear Ozzy about a quarter second later. As for the video, Id say bad editing.

Why does Jake E. Lee's guitar sound weird here. It is either terrible acoustics, or something. I just think it sounds almost like a keyboard or something non-guitar like. I just don't quite understand the sound and why it sounds so poorly.

@vaibanez17 Well, not sure if you noticed, but there ARE actually keyboards on the track. Don Airey was Ozzy's keyboard player, and they're very loud in the mix. Jakes guitar sounds alright in my opinion. The acoustic and mixing at the show was shoddy throughout the few days it was on.
