only known 1967 Mustang to have a custom aftermarket retractable hardtop installed

Here is a unique KC Slider trailer with a even more unique Custom '67 Mustang known as Poison Ivy, this car is quite unique with its custom touches like its custom rims, and upgraded audio, and performance drive-line, and its unique color changing paint that is actually called Poison Ivy and don't miss the color changing stripes, but the most noticeable and unique custom feature would be this cars unique foldaway hard-top, that is not electric or hydraulic powered, but none the less, its still quite unique to see on any car, let alone a Mustang, and of course Ford was the pioneer of the foldaway hardtop convertible back in the 1950s, with there 1957-1959 Ford Skyliners, from what I've heard Ford was actually thinking about doing something quite similar to this custom's roof with the Mustang back in the 1960s, but for some reason they felt the traditional convertible was better suited, and that marked the end of Fords involvement in the foldaway hardtop convertible technology, but if you go over to Europe, you can find a Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet, that sports a powered Foldaway hardtop convertible, and it harkens back to the days of the power foldaway hardtop convertible on the late 50s Skyliners,

  • Wow... lambo doors and strange looking fold down top on a beautiful classic Mustang. Oh god.... what fail. :(

If you left it as a normal coupe and not put those horrible lambo doors on it, it would of been a awesome ride. :-/

  • @stangcrazygirl

The roof is quite unique, i would have preferred if it was power operated roof like the '57-'59 Ford Skyliners, but the rims and paint and lambo doors can all be undone quite easily, so its up to the current owner i guess, they wanted it built that way, so its there ride, i just filmed this car, as the roof is quite unique, one thing with customs is, one person who wanted it that way, will love it, and a good many others won't,

  • WOW, a lot of money to really screw up a classic!

  • @rockershocker23

sorry you feel that way, i guess not everyone will like this car, as many customs are built to the owners specific likes, so that won't always sit well with everyone, but i am not huge on some customs, but they can be done nicely, this one seemed to be quite wild with its paint, and audio, but fortunately the paint and rims can be put back to stock, the roof may pose another challenge, but i think this roof idea is very cool, but i would have preferred it to be motorized,

  • that too lol what engine was in it didn't get to see it in the vid did he happen to tell you how much hp it had and those lambo doors were a nice touch also

  • They are called scissor doors. Not lambo doors.

  • get rid of the paint job and lambo doors and itd be an amazing true mustang! with a nice added flare from the top....

and maybe less flashy ghetto wheels that are more original and a deep dish flare and bam id be allover that shit!

  • wow, they fuck it up.

  • Thats my neighbour that owns that mustang.

  • Thats my neighbour

  • A fastback hardtop convert would be cool

  • Awesome color combo w/ the stripes. One custom I'll give the thumbs up to. Very cool.

  • @rockershocker23 AGREED
