I thought you'd like a look at this very nicely restored 1971 Olds 442 Muscle Car. It is a numbers matching original with only 54xxx miles since new. It's equipped with the W-30 option package which included a factory blueprinted Rocket 455, with H-heads, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carb, and forced air induction. This is one of the last true muscle cars. This car is one of only 920 produced with the W-30 option that year. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it.

Background track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod. Available under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. Download link:http://music.incompetech.com/royaltyfree2/Whiskey%20on%20the%20Mississippi.mp3

MacLeod's description:

Genre: Blues
Length: 3:15
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
Tempo: 90

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

  • any documentation proving car was made as a w-30?

  • @badddandy It's a well-documented, two owner, 56,xxx original mile car. They have the original build sheet, Protect-O-Plate, owner's manual, copy of original title, warranty card, receipts for work, and more. If you're interested, you can contact them through their website at Gatewayclassiccars. Thanks for watching!

  • Nice car, but waaay over priced.... You will never see $79,000 for this

  • @lonewolf7309 I try to show under the hood on all of them now. I'm hoping to get more vids with them running as well. They're not my cars, so it's challenging to make good vids.

  • would it be possible to see under the hood and in the trunk and hear them run? thanks
