...its thier resolve in defending the society they have created that helps them overcome thier timid (according to weyoun), pacifist nature. The very ideas and political concepts that Gene Roddenberry had imbied into the UFP where being threatned by the Dominion, who are themselves a kind of "anti-federation", made of different races, Vorta, Jem-hadar, the founders, forcing thier will on the "Salads" and they dont expand thier borders to explore, but to conquer.

The whole "Dominion War" plot arch got some criticism, mainly concearning the fact that Gene didnt want a sci-fi show with races fighting against one another but co-operating and exploring space. And was contrary to the ethos of the show. But i disagree, its all well and good creating a grand galactic utopia but its not going to last very long unless its at least prepared to defend itself against alien organisations that are not as benevolent as the Federation..(cont)

I'm guessing at this point in the war the Jem'Hadar soldiers were suffering from extreme White shortage.
that's why they are so easy to kill.
they can no longer cloak and are slow and weak.
