The Kicaput Singers and Dancers perform what they jokingly refer to as "The Aerobics Song", because of the level of energy required, at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

  • This is a very cultured people i would like to visit one day i am from the menominee nation and im afraid our people and tradtion will soon be gone all the young people wnna dress and act like gang bangers they have no respect for thier elders anymore or our ways.... its sad to see our so called traditnal men drumming then getting a case of beer after...

  • Actually, this song was supposed to be drummed slow. The composer, grieving over his cousin that passed away, started sing a song, in memory of him. Cauyautnaamken, Yuraaqina (You dance, while I drum for you.)
