Warp Factor

I just tested Hughes&Kettner Warp Factor. It's the most amazing gain pedal i've ever used. Sorry for the sound, my cam sucks.

The equipment:

- Coxx Les Paul Custom -with Bill Lawrence L-500XL pickup set; Dimebag style :)

Thank everyone for the nice comments; as i said before, it's one of my songs - yes, the amp is an avt Marshall but i sold it, got a vintage all tube Laney now, it kicks ass with the holy Warp Factor! :)

I can honestly say, I believe this thing is the most underrated pedal ever.

IF some of you guys have a noisy Warp Factor as My first one was and I am sure the other two are as well, just never tried them yet.

The problem is paint overspray on the inside of the housing open it up and note the ground wire is sandwiched between the housing and bottom metal plate take a Dremal tool or a file and clean that shit down to the bare metal on the housing and the plate and slap it together no more grounding noise!!

Ive heard this pedal lacks versatility. im thinking of getting one just for that bottom end distorion and putting a TK999 Tube King in front of it for warmth and versatility? Hows this idea sound?

I have this pedal with a ton of other distortion pedals from about seven different companies and this one dissapointed me.But I just got through upgrading some of the electronics with an upgrade kit and now it's just beast!!There is just an amazing differance in gain,clarity and overall tone.

@fitenite I think you are correct! Back in the day nobody reviwed it properly and just got lumped as a Limp Bizkit in a box.So instead of getting used and influencing other makers to build better pedals all we got was shit for years.

great playing mate, ive actually had a warp factor for years and havent really used it. was saving up for a pod x3 but fuck that, after checking this out im gonna blow this dust of the wp and start kicking ass! i now have money to spend :D

Sounds awesome... Do you plug it directly into the clean Amp? I'd be interested in the clean sound of the amp. Can this pedal also do some crunchy marshall-like sounds?
