After the earthquake that affected Chile on February 27th 2010, the main buildings of the Santiago International Airports suffered heavy damage (most of the structure it is OK) and most of them are not operative.
Passengers are processed (Reciprocity Fee, Policía Internacional/Immigration, Baggage Delivery, Aduanas/Customs, SAG) in a tent and the leave the airport by this way, open air.
