Please let me know if there is any scientific name for what we can see here: a flower of Calendula officinalis (engl: pot marigold; german: Ringelblume) has about three new smaller, orange flowers, coming out of the border of the original flower which otherwise shows already the green and maturing seeds. Please let me know if this is described anywhere else for Calendula, or for Compositae in general, as the family of flowers to which Calendula belongs to.
