These are amazing to watch! I had some viewing gaps with ATWT over the years. I caught up rading the 40th Anniversary book -twice! But watching these eps. full-length with commercials and all is great fun. Yes watching that sheet fall off James' face was a bit fortelling of more to come. Thanks for posting!
@CarlD2 Oh, and I guess this was the last time we'd see any of the Franklins. It was a nice touch for Marland to have a warm goodbye for the nurses program, as this had driven a lot of story in 1987/8. I'm glad Pam didn't just vanish. I really liked her, and how level-headed she was. It's also a nice contrast to the James saga - people who help save life celebrated while a villain/killer dies.
The only drag is the stuff w/Julie and Andy. Episode after episode of Julie crying while Andy pouts.
Thanks so much for uploading this. I've wanted to see this for a long time. The early scenes are a bit amateur dramatics but the panic afterward, and that chilling last scene, work beautifully. James' whole return this last time was so broken down and weak, to reflect what he had become. This should have been the end.
Why do Ellie and Margo (and in other episodes Lily) have that awful Pebbles Flintstone hair? Was this a plug for Flinstones vitamins?
@sneezyize Probably. The likelihood that he survived this long enough to pay off a medical examiner is a bigger stretch than Paul's psychic visions. Then again, when that sheet slips off his face, it's like we know he'll NEVER die, one way or another. Even Doug Marland couldn't kill him! Imagine Irna Phillips trying to.
Thanks. What a big moment in ATWT history. I almost expected Margo to have a huge grin on her face when viewing Stenbeck's body. Just imagine Barbara dancing like a Rockette when she got the call! They should have shown her working at Fashions, suddenly having to stop because she knows something is very wrong.
Did the two cops take James somewhere we he immediately jumped up and said, "I'm alive! And I'll come back late in the next decade and reveal to Lucinda we had a son that she and I never knew we had!" LOL!

@Oakdalian Now I'm imagining James falling up the stairs and impaling himself on one of baby Adam's toys.
