amp sounds great. Is that an SM57 on it?
-
You can say whatever you like, but amp with mic sound natural and best to my ears.

thats an extremely crisp sound, what desk is that dude?

Ingo, have you tried the amp's line out with some cabinet impulse responses in the DAW program you use for mixing? It will sound pretty convincing that way. There are nice Fender IRs out there, all you need is a loader plugin and you're good to go.

This is a great way of showing all the variations.Thanks

Funny how the POD one was awful by itself, but in the mix it was rather nice. The amp's direct out is too shrill in that form though... gotta say, the mic'd sound's still unbeatable.

@Equestional
That's and old Fostex analog mixer from the 80ies which I love because the EQs sound much warmer than a Tascam I had before. From there it went into a high-quality soundcard.

Grrgsx, I don't get it: youtube plays the audio in mono again, even when watching the high quality version. If you manually add &fmt=18 directly at the end of the video URL, it will play stereo (in high quality version). The embedded video in my blog is stereo automatically. Does anyone know how to solve this without the &fmt=18 ??
