"If you don't have the ability to make that leap of faith it's going to be harder for you to accomplish something great, because there are going to be moments, there are going to be little windows of opportunity that open for a split second and you either squirt through or you don't. But at the moment that you do that, you have to have prepared yourself. You have to have prepared yourself for that fight, because that's going to be the fight of your life. Whatever that opportunity is, when you grab it, it's going to be more energy than you can manage. It's going to be grabbing the tiger by the tail and if you have not prepared yourself mentally for it through study, through knowing and hypothesizing what it will be like when you're in that position, you won't be able to deal with it. And half of what you've concluded before the fact in your theoretical projection is going to be wrong but half of it will be right and that's the part you're going to prevail with."

  • Guys is awesome I agree with Downriverkid...I would loved to have seen him do AvP instead of that twat Paul Anderson!

  • yes, it's very unfortunate. I heard that he was working on another Alien film and when he found out that AVP was being made, he dropped the project. And let's face it, how many Alien movies do we need? each one becomes worse than the one before.

AVP was not like other Alien movies, it was more based on a comic and I think that's what Anderson wanted.. I thought it was quite boring and predictable.

  • i love cameron's movies, it seems that everyone else who comes in, just ruins his works with their sequels. Termoinator 3, AVP, stuff like that.

i'm gonna make sure that when i get around to movies, that the only people i would want to make sequels will be me or someone i would approve of.

  • u know it was also a video game. never played it though. what do u think of part 2?

  • Alien vs. Predator was a series of computer and video games way before they became movies. I didn't see much of the first, but i saw the second and it really sucked for me.

i found some parts very disturbing, like the alien pregnating the pregnant mothers to be. Form watching all the horror movies, i knew from experience that alot of peopel will die, but i never thought they'd go as far as mutanat fetus's and bombing a whole town.

    hated it

  • James Cameron never made Predator...

  • James Cameron is the best movie making of Terminator, Predator 1, Aliens, ect.

I just hope he will be making the Predator 3 Trilogy. A story of just Predators and Aliens. That the Predators started all this of the hunt.

  • James Cameron wont do AvP Becausse he hates the idear, he said directly that he thinks that it killed the original series, and was planing to do Alien 5 until Fox pulled the plug.

  • he's the maestro

  • Greatest director I have ever seen. The guy is a master at movies.
