I did mine proud. (back in 1973) I fitted a KILL SWITCH to the RH handlebar & I simply touched that with my THUMB to autokill the motor Or I simply screwed the throttle WIDE_OPEN and kept the button pushed until it puttered out. & then released. BOOOOM All of the unburnt fuel ignited in the huge exhaust pipe. Until one day it literally shot a car (behind me) as the baffles blew out From then on (WITH NO BAFFLES) it was an even louder ;-) BOOOOOOOOOM ..!! And - with a huge blue flame.
