I have both these pistols and the HK is really a much more quality gun. The FNP tactical I have is better as far as capacity, but that's pretty much were it ends for me. The fit and finish on the HK45 is far beyond the FNP 45. I guess its all about what you want. 10 + 1 in the HK45 is plenty for me. But I still do like my tactical too.

@HnKSNOB I dont know how much u shoot but I fired thousands of rounds through my fnp-9 including 3000 in a police academy. I still carry this gun as my duty gun and qualify with the last qual I recieved a 99 % The 1 round was in the 8 ring of a b27 target. that being said I whipped a guy on the line with an HK usp and several sigs and glocks but I can shoot my glock just as well remember its 99% shooter 1% gun. Im sure ur HK would serv just as well but for my money its FNH.

@wlindenlaub Para Ordnance also makes weapons for the military and police. I bought a new Para 1911 for $750.00. My new ($650.00) FN 9mm had a few jams, so I sold it. Neither mag would seat in the Para, after less than 50 rounds, both medallions fell out of the grips and the rear sight fell off! Sent it back for repairs. This is inexcusable in my opinion..NO quality control! This can happen with ANY brand, but I've yet to hear of anyone having issues with the H&K's.For me it's H&K or a revolver.
