This is a video I took yesterday in Ainsworth Nebraska. Ainsworth is located in North West Central Nebraska off of HWY 20 and HWY 183. The population is approx. 2,000 people. This video will give you some kind of feel of the size of the town. Ainsworth is a 95% farming and cattle ranching community and the other 5% is mixed business. I took this video while driving around killing time.

  • Thanks for posting this! I was looking for information on Ainsworth, we are thinking about moving there! Was great to find this video! Can you tell me what the terrain on the outsides of town is like? Any hills? How far are the sandhills? And how far is the river which runs along the northern boarder of the county? Thank you!!

  • If you go to my myspace page I have several pictures of the area on there. Niobrara is the river to the North inside the county about 15 mins from Ainsworth, and to the South is Calamus about 30 mins. As for terrain it kind of looks like Colorado in parts. Lot's of hills, valleys, natural springs, water falls to the north. The Sand Hill portion is very noticable no mater where you go when you go South on HWY7, or North, and West on HWY20. Anything else you want to know just ask away.

  • Hey, Im from that town, are you?

  • I use to work there.
