I know it's propably difficult for people under 25 to believe, but back in 1996, having grown up on a steady diet of NES, SNES and Genesis, to see something like this on a console was mind blowing.

@Zacspooky The missing hand actually belongs to STARS Bravo Team member Edward Dewey, as I'm sure you're aware of, Though in the REmake, it was retconned and instead, they find the mauled body of RPD pilot (he's not part od STARS) Kevin Dooley. In RE 0 of course, the game was adjusted to put Dewey's hand back on as there was no need for it to be missing.

@glitchhunter09 either way the REmake and this don't really have that much difference in terms of story. Just some small events different and such :)

The original version of the game is no longer canon due to Resident Evil Remake for the Gamecube and Wii reestablishing existing canon. However, it is still a decent game, regardless of the silly acting and aging graphics.
