Lol thats so bloody true. Have you ever heard of a thing called the Laffer curve? Its a principle that says whenever you drop the tax rate government actual gains more in revenue not less.
Heres a couple of recent examples in this video here from 46 seconds.

Also after WW2 the US gov cut spending and taxing by 2/3rds and had a 30% gdp growth! Next highest years are below 15%

You people are idiots!!! You don't even get what Newt is talking about. He's talking about American exceptionalism. Americans have always fought to be free. They were willing to pay the price no matter how high. We rejected Europe and forged our own way. A way toward individual liberty and freedom from tyrannical governments. Agree or disagree with Newt's ideology. But you have to agree that he's one of the smartest guys in the room.
