He's always been a good character, but now they've made him a REALLY good character.
haha anyways, I have his weapon set up with Agility5. Many of you should know already that Agility gets
a bit glitchy with some charge attacks and Multi. Agility5 I believe is the maximum in order for his C6 to work
with the full two slashes. Someone correct me on this if Im wrong. Also, at Agility5, his C1 damage is not bad. Anyway, find something between Agility 0 - 5.

There's something I want to say about this weapon. It's obvious that Air is wasted against all of the weaker officers. Air would only be useful against Lu Bu, and I dont know how much slower his offense would be if it were absent. A good alternative for the last slot would be Range. This makes it much safer to attack in crowds. I recommend XiahouJia's Xiahou Dun video, which shows this weapon and gameplay nicely. In this video, without Range, I used tricks such as R1 to stall enemies. Certainly, without Range, it's still not hard to own with Xiahou Dun, and forcing multiple officers to clump together really isnt harder. Both of these elements have small benefits. The choice is your's. He has no Agility in his video, so choose between Agility, Range, and Air, for the last two slots.

Lu Kuang it wasn't. I try to do something different for those complaining viewers haha. I did quite well against the two officers, compared to my practise runs, when I was leveling Xiahou Dun up. Getting Lu Bu and that generic to clump together worked very well for me too! Other than Lu Bu blocking near the end, the offense here should be pretty close to maximized.
I dunno about you, but I find that C3 + Jump Attack looks really nice. Hahaha, sure it's useless, but the motion looks pretty sweet.

why should we keep agi to 5?

what happens when it's at 10?

damage output is severely nerfed.

This happens to a lot of other characters with many other moves actually.

Usually, it's a decrease in range, or reach, but in this case it's a decrease in damage for Xiahou Dun's C1. At a setting of 5 or so, we still get a strong offense, with a C1 that is fast enough to cope with. Note that at a zero agility setting, it still takes the same number of C1's to kill a generic, so the goal was to find a setting that give us the same offense, at best efficiency

ok i have only one concern for xiahou dun, his jump charge.

i didnt see you use it in the video, so i was just wondering, is it at all useful is chaos mode?

cause when you first start using xiahou dun, its good for killing officers on an easier level.

His JC is very strong, but not as strong as Cao Pi's. The reason why it isnt useful in Chaos is that he is very vulnerable on the landing. Also, in end game, since it isn't elemental, it not very strong at all compared to the attacks shown in the video

i think that his triangle charge attack is really good.., deals good damage and enemies can't touch you while you're doing it. it's like killing two birds with one stone XD

in WO series .... i guess musou's really kinda not usefull anymore cause of weapon elements requires musou and these elements are strong enough. musou is totally broken dead in these games =O
