Looking for a dual flame lighter and this thing looks dangerous. You could easily burn yourself turning it off. Guess I'll be going for the Lotus 25. Thanks for the video.

Just ordered this one as a pipe lighter, i cannot wait to get mine it looks so unique i just wish i could find reviews on it's long term reliability.

i now own both this and the evertech shotgun shell lighter. however, i should have taken your advice and gone with colibri or lotus. the evertech is amazing, i plan to get a few more for later gifts. this lighter is very nice too, however, (this i do not know, may just be my lighter) my KGM doesnt like to light, sometimes i will have to hit the ignighter down 10 times, as slow as i can, and at times it lights without a problem. ive done all the troubleshoot tips too, apart from this, not bad.

@gostskull When did you get the KGM? If you're still within 30 days of the purchase, I would encourage you to call our customer service and see if you can work out an exchange. The KGM should light consistently and not take 10 times to ignite.

thankyou, i just need a long lasting soft flame pipe lighter, i agree on the Xikar, i am favoring the Vector KGM or Colibri, aside from those 2 models, what would you recommend?

@gostskull Well, if it was me (and I don't smoke a pipe...yet) I would probably go with the vector colt purely because it comes with a few different tools. Most of the other pipe lighters out there only come with one or two tools. We do have a pipe smoker here and he picked up a couple of the colt lighters and swears by them now.

ive got another question, what in your opionion are the best pipe(natural flame) butane refillables to get? these are my top 4 Xikar Exodus, Colibri Connaught II ,lotus 22 and vector kgm

@gostskull It would cost approximately $8 to ship either the lotus 22 or this lighter to Calgary. In terms of a recommendation, skip the Xikar. Most of what you are paying for with Xikar is their brand name and their marketing costs. IMHO, their stuff is way overrated. Honestly, with the 3 remaining lighters, I really think it comes down to what you like best in regards to design. Lotus, KGM and Colibri all put out very solid lighters.
