I hope next week to have these running sequential turn and hazard but for now just being LED is an improvement.

--

Just got these LED 3157 Bulbs off eBay for my Mustang not as bright as the LEDs from v-Leds.
I don't have the $40 a pop for "V-Leds" 3157 SMT LED bulbs this time around, but these generic LEDs did not disappoint.

I do Like the build quality of "V-Leds" bulbs better, but these are better than stock incandescent bulbs any day of the week!

  • So I have a 98 mustang and i am having trouble with the led bulbs. What kind of resistors did you use and where did you install them. Thanks for the help

  • @kevinjsand Also, found out the problem, the 3rd brake light bulb was burned out.

  • @kevinjsand I installed an electronic flasher which fixes the hyper flash. Factory flash does hyper flashing when a bulb is burned out, so the LEDs seem burned out to it. These are 13W, I think the filament bulb is around 20-30W

  • @kusanagisama I did have a problem with fast flasher so you will need load resistors but my cruse was never affected but I have heard of that problem before.

  • @kevinjsand Just found out that my cruise control doesn't work with the 3 LED 6 chip type that are similar to these (see item #400141742243 on eBay). I should be getting the LEDs you have here in the next week or so. Paid $18 from wardenjp dot com for the red and white ones.

I have a 2006 Ford F-150 and I have an electronic flasher installed. Should I get a set of resistors?

  • @kevinjsand you should get 63 leds would look bettter
