Loved the Sheffield gig and then met Vince and Alison at the stage doors they were great and signed everyones programs or posters etc. I forgot to ask them why they didn't do The other side of love? Any ideas anyone

I think I can give some insight to this, Vince responded on the question from a fan why "Walk away from Love" wasn't played at first few gigs by saying "it just didn't work out". If you listen to this version and compare to the old version, you can really hear the lower key here. People grow older and honestly I don't think Alfi is capable singing the tune good in that key anymore hence the remake of the sound. Much deeper and more powerful here, a mature voice.

I think they both don't like 'The Other Side Of Love' so thats why its not included.

I was there, waited 25 years to see them live ( busy giving birth and child rearing first time round!),No words can describe what it meant to me. I'll just leave it at that, very moving.The daughter I was busy rearing came with me!!!. born and braught up on Yazoo, she adores them too.

I wonder if they'd lost the master tape to this track, and had to redo, sounds so different to the original. Most tracks they performed sounded exactly like the album versions?

Nice to see this though as they didn't perform this one at Manchester. Did they perfom, 'The Other Side Of Love' at any of the other dates, missed hearing that one too?
