Yes that is true but most of the times it's just the convenience of it. Although, with a grinder like I have in the video, the bottom compartment collect all the THC and after a couple of months it becomes a nice dust top up on a spliff lol with enough of it, one spliff could keep you high for quite a while.

If the paper is coming out further than the roach, its a good idea to burn it off until it is level. Otherwise the paper goes brown and can even leaves stains on your lips.
