In case anyone still questions the greatness of Anthony Jackson, this track will clear any doubts. The first time I heard this I had to have my jaw re-attached to my skull. This is "Not Yet" by the great Michel Camilo, as originally played on his debut CD as a band leader, the now rather hard-to-find "Why Not?", recorded in 1985. Granted, the more recent big band version of the same tune is now probably better known than this original version, yet to me, while the big band arrangement is impressive and beautifully played, it lacks the "cojones" from the original version. What you are about to hear makes me think Anthony Jackson must be superhuman. The bass track is a fast locomotive going downhill with no brakes! It is unstoppable!
