As much as i dont like how war driven america is after 9/11 i understand that america isnt gonna back down, after that they have all rights to take action to prevent it happening again. Plus Australia has troops over there so give em hell boys! :p

@CadillacDL Nice, our unit stayed at MMD 6 mo, from Feb 09 - July and then we moved up to Striker for the last 6 mo. Looks like we've been to a lot of the same places. = ) minus the trips far into Anbar. I miss that little shit hole of Jackson but Iraq is changing too fast brother. I'm not even sure if MMD or Falcon are open still. Kalsu is but many are shutting down. Stay safe brother.

this couldnt of been too long ago the side rails on the streets are missing i remember taking those down so they couldnt hide IEDs behind them any more

You guys were pretty much runnin the Jackson/Tampa area....did you stay at MMD or Falcon? I saw both in the video...Good luck to you all. Cheers.

@TheNorthshore09 We stayed at MMD/St Michael for the most part but also set up small FOBs at Yusufiyah and Latifiyah. I went to Falcon, Kalsu, Abu Ghraib, Iskandariyah/Chosin, TQ, BIAP and Green Zone regularly to take Battalion CO to meetings and for detainee transfer.
