the reason the blu-ray take over HD-DVD is because alot of the movie companys like time warner disney and so on they move on and supported the blu-ray and that reason alone the company who made the HD-DVD player lost there movie company support thats why they stop sell it.

the blu-ray player didn't took off the way the DVD player did but not doing to bad tho.

Well to be honest the Porn Industry sided with Blu Ray. Porn chosed VHS over Beta. Porn decides the media.
