@CountryBoy2380 youtube search "Steve's guitar making" That's where I learned.

are you using superglue for bracings?
-
is it just me or do you hear really quiet, quick talking from 1:48 ?

I watched all previous parts just to see how you bend the sides of the guitar. u.u

I know its been like three years, but how did you rout for the binding? Thanks for the vids

witch glue do you use?
-
Would you make a guitar for me if I pay you, and how much would it cost? :) Seriously. Please answer. :P

@Bobomooman2395 It's a bending iron. Basically a hot pipe which is used to bend the wood for the sides or the binding materials. Some people use electric ones like that and some still use an old pipe with a propane torch to heat it up. Takes a little bit more work to bend things accurately with an iron which is why some use commercial bending machines such as the Fox Bender.
did u buy a book? or do u just know how to build a guitar?

I learnt mostly from reading and looking at pictures of how other people did it as they posted it on their websites, I also built smaller experimental instruments before attempting a full blown guitar

never disregard that last comment he has a heating iron, he uses it as 3:20. sorry
CountryBoy2380 3 years ago
yes, my camera quit for a spell but I did the sides anyway with the heating iron

save some money on the bending iron they work great and are pretty easy to use but build a jig of the sides 2 pieces of sheet metal and a silicone heating blanket will work just as well and save a couple hundred bucks. nice job on the bending of the sides though if you did do them

I will for sure make a side bending jig, the bending iron worked ok for this project but it is more stressful. Thanks
