Guayasamín - EL LEGADO DE UNA ILUSIÓN

La propia voz del maestro ecuatoriano Oswaldo Guayasamín nos narra sobre el mensaje que quería transmitir con su obra y con la creación de la CAPILLA DEL HOMBRE.

Su necesidad de expresar lo valioso de las culturas ancestrales de nuestra América, lo terrible de la esclavitud y la crueldad de los seres humanos en contra de su propia especie.

Pero Guayasamín nos habla también de la esperanza y hace un llamamiento a que algún día haya Paz y que, algún día estemos todos dados de la mano.



The own voice of the ecuadorian master Oswaldo Guayasamin narrates the message that he wanted to transmit with his work and with the creation of the "CHAPEL OF THE MAN ".

His need to express the valuable aspects of the ancient cultures of Americas, the terrible side of slavery and the cruelty of human beings against each other.

But Guayasamin speaks to us also about the hope and his wish that "some day there will be Peace and that, some day we will all hold hands".
