The only reason they stop is due to US pressure. The US can only protect them so much as a permanent member of the UN Security Council. In order to win conflicts for Israel and get oil, US needs IC support against "rogue states", which is difficult when Israel gets too eager. So they slow down or make small concessions or shut up entirely.

That's a religious argument. The Israelis don't own the land now-a-days, Palestine does. Israel attacked Palestine so Israel and Palestine are at war until a cease-fire or some peace can be made. No invasion of Iran.

Give it time. It's a work in progress. We've already written off most of the Non-Jewish states as radical murders. First, the US destroys or allies the more powerful regional states that could support Syria, Lebanon, or Palestine (Iran,Iraq, befriend Egypt and Saudi). Then Israel baits the other countries by building on their land during peace talks, inciting a Hezbollah response, then Israel "strikes back" occupying more land when they're done (Israel's oldest trick in the book).
