@Trifunovici My doberman is about an year now and he loves to swim. It hard to keep him out of the lake when we are there. He also loves the beach. If myself or wife are in the water he'll swim out to us and hang out.

This is so funny. My red 5yr old dobie does this exact thing. If theres no other dogs at the water he is quiet and intent on playin, but so much as a duck is in the water and good god! He just yelps and barks his whole swim to the ball!!! If i throw two balls in the water, he will do the same and will ferry both balls back to the shore. Beautifull dogs!!

Same thing with Atos, he loves fetching and water but he hates when it goes over his head. I guess I will have to gradually tech him to swim.

ever since they were pups we went to local beaches.. ours loves to fetch so they would do anything to get their ball..
