how is the 600cfm carb working out for you? I building a very similar 355 vortec sbc for my 89. however I was considering a vac secondaries 750cfm carb.

that air cleaner is really going to restrict your motor, i kno theres hood clearance issues but check out carb plenums, u can get low profile polished aluminum intakes that take 2 4" cone air filters, they fit great, act somewhat as a cold air intake and they dont restrict. i think the brand is "power adder" they are on ebay
