@SillageDeLaReine I've never had a newsletter promoting me, or an agenda I put my name behind. If I did, I'd do everything I could to make sure no asshole misrepresented me. If someone did, then the problem would be fixed. Immediately. Ignorance? Complacence? Both are easy and obvious targets.

fuck yeah this is what ive been looking for!!! :)
Latinos for Ron Paul 2012!

The majority of the newsletters are not racist, and it's believable that Ron Paul did not know about the content. Most of the newsletters are about monetary policy. I think Lew Rockwell, the editor of the Ron Paul Report, put the racist content into the newsletters in an ill attempt to attract rednecks to what he called a, "paleolibertarian" movement. This scheme was concocted by Lew Rockwell and Murray Rothbard. Personally, I think Ron Paul should throw Lew Rockwell under the bus.

Im sure all of us, at some point in our life signed our name on a contract, or some sorta long, fine printed document without reading the entire thing...we just assume that it will be harmless. Im sure the editor in chief of National Geographics or Forbes doesnt read every article or ad in their magazines. This is a simple honest human mistake we've all made.

@AprilDawn555 That Bruno skit was HILARIOUS!

I wouldn't choose have a say on this, I think technically life does actually start at conception...technically before that I guess, but I don't really care about not sentient life forms being aborted. It's important to me that states make the laws, and it's important to me that people become more involved in their local politics as a result (hopefully). I'm for this type of federal act, to be sure, even if I don't really care about this one either way.

lol yeah I was at work and did miss it somehow.
I read up on the act - I don't see it as a big deal, but you have a point. Still:
"The Sanctity of Life Act further would have recognised that each state has authority to protect the lives of unborn children residing in the jurisdiction of that state. "
This is the only significant aspect of this argument for me. Obviously a right to life slant, but the bill protects the states right to perform abortions.
“Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates? actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racists. We should understand that racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty”
