Sadly John Gill, Australias onw ragtime pianist who has represented our coutry overseas at the Blind Boone Jazz festival used to play this on the Murray St Mall. John departed this earth too soon in his late 40s. I was priviledged to see him many times and bought all of his Cds, one which has this number on it.

My Father would always request this whenever we went on family holidays in the 80's. Usually the pianists didn't know it though! Great stuff, thanks for this.

This is the piece my piano teacher taught me and that I aspired to play. Mrs Sivess was the best piano teacher ever.

In the US I think we'd call it Ragtime. Scott Joplin is one of the most renowned ragtime artists we have. Isn't it fun?

My husband died 6 months ago. By chance I heard someone play Robin's Return which he loved . I bought him the record of Neville Dickie playing it many years ago. I now listen to it every morning as it brings back so many lovely memories.

Excellent stuff.
My Dad used to play this back in Glasgow Scotland. He had our tenement building rocking as all the neighbours loved this piece of music.
