The sexual preferences of a person doesn't effect me. I have no problem with same sex marriage or with two men or women kissing in public. And there is no reason for people to say "It's in the bible, and the bible says it's wrong." because if we're gonna take that route, you're gonna have to stop eating shellfish, shaving, playing football, getting your fortune read, pulling out, getting tattoos, wearing polyester or other fabric blends, and a plethora of other everyday things.

same sex couples can be as happy and free as they want: but they cannot get "married". marriage is simply a religious biblical thing - they can have the ceremony, the dresses, all that jazz, but it cannot be called 'marriage'. simply call it another name! they should get the exact same benefits as any married couple, just with a different name. im not religious by any means, but you cant just desecrate a religion because you want to wear a pretty dress and say 'i do'.
