  • excellent demo of the surya namaskara. especially for me as a beginner.. one thing i have noticed tho.. is the small steps/bending of the legs during the downward dog.. is this merely a casual thing, or part of the exercise?

  • It helps at the beginning of you practice to provide an extra stretch to the hamstrings. These subtle stretches are also very soothing and considerate.

  • cool, thanks for the info.. one thing that made me ask was i have seen others(shiva rea etc) do the same thing.. i had thought that it might actually be part of the exercise. thanks again :)
